Travelling.

Travelling.
Travelling leaves you speechless. Then turn you into a storyteller. Hope I have been a good one ^.^

A Journey to the K land! Day 7 Part 2 - 8 Feb 2013

After we left the Garden of the Morning Calm with 1:00pm Circle Tour Bus, I felt so warm and cozy inside the bus which had a heater. I even fell asleep for a few minute! Haha

5,000 Won for an all-day pass bus ticket

As we were getting closer to Petite France, I woke up and looked around and saw which used to be a lake filled with snow!!!

Cheongpyeong Lake

We reached Petite France at 1:50pm and paid 8,000 Won for entrance fees. As soon as we got our hands on a tourist guide map, we immediately looked for food! We were so hungry and oh boy, we were really glad to have found a French restaurant which was not crowded at all! Both of us order pasta for 10,000 Won each and distracted our hunger by instagramming and facebooking with free wifi in the restaurant :D

My 10,000 Won Pasta
This creamy pasta was really delicious (or maybe I was just biased from my hunger)

Cheongpyeong Lake Again

There was live performance at this cafe! We could go and enjoy the classic English songs even if we didn't buy anything! We escaped from the cold, enjoy live music and immersed ourselves in the beautiful scenery seen from a window of the cafe....

Remember this place where Kim Jong Kook and Lee Gwang Soo ran away from Nickhun in Running Man? Two of them eventually locked themselves in the toilet to escape from Nickhun.

We left Petite France with 5:40pm bus and went back to Cheongpyeong Subway station.

Back at Myeong Dong, we met my travel buddy's cousin for dinner.  Normally, one serving of chicken (half chicken) would cost 7,500 Won and if you top up 400 Won, you can actually enjoy unlimited serving / free flow of chicken. However, its for one person so you cannot share with other people. I guess if you can eat a lot and really love chicken, 7,900 Won chicken buffet is really for you haha

Despite me having flu, sore throat and no voice, I just couldn't help but indulge in this street snack from Myeong Dong before heading back to the hostel to rest :D

Adios!
