Travelling.
Travelling leaves you speechless. Then turn you into a storyteller. Hope I have been a good one ^.^

A Journey to the K land! Day 1 Part 1 - 2 Feb 2013

After we cleared immigration and customs, it was just before 7am.  I quickly opened my luggage to take out all my winder wear.  Although we were still inside the Incheon airport, the temperature had significantly dropped.  Outside, it was below 0C! The wind was so strong!

There are a couple of ways to get to Seoul without spending so much money on a cab. If you don't have a lot of things, you can take subway as that is the cheapest.  However, Seoul's subway stations are quite big and there are quite a lot of stairs so this mode of transportation is only for those without much stuff.

Or you can take Airport Limousine Bus and that's what we did.  Each bus service serves one area of Seoul such as Bus 6015 will serve Myeong Dong area while Bus 6011 will serve Edae/Sinchon area. There are so many gates at the arrival hall and they are numbered Gate 1, Gate 2 and so on.  Our bus 6015 will stop near Gate 11/12 so we exited there and looked for our bus sign.  We just had to queue near the signboard of bus 6015.  That board even had bus arrival times and it was very accurate!!! The bus driver came down and helped us store our luggage in the luggage compartment. As we boarded the bus, we had to pay a bus fare of 10,000 Won to the driver.

We took 7:35am bus to the Green Residence. So excited!!!

The bus stops are announced in English, Japanese and Korean. Tourist-friendly huh? Since the bus ride would be more than an hour long, I took a short nap on the bus :D From the bus stop, we had to walk up a small slope to reach the Green Residence.  It should have been just a 5-min walk but our luggage slowed us down and we made it to our accommodation by 9am.  I felt so great that I managed to carry both my green and yellow luggage in one trip!

BUT my joy was short-lived. There was on-going maintenance work and there was no power!!! So we couldn't take the lift up to the 17th floor to the Green Residence!!! Luckily, the nice security guard ajusshi let us leave our stuff near his counter and told us to get breakfast.

The surprising thing was cosmetic shops in Myeon Dong were already open although it was barely 9am!!! So instead of getting breakfast, we went shopping!!!

all wrapped up in my winter wear ^-^

I wonder why male stars are picked to promote these cosmetic brands? Probably to attract girls like me, who would buy anything (almost anything) that their fav stars endorse! haha :D

We had street snacks instead of having proper lunch!

After 3 hours of shopping, we decided to head back to our place to check-in, charge our phones and rest for awhile.

Stay tuned!

Adios!
xoxo
