Mr & Missy in Thailand Day 3

Instead of rushing to Hua Hin vineyard on our second day, we decided to relax at the beach.  After all, we had recently been to 2 vineyards in Myanmar. Also what is the point of having to keep rushing from one place to another? Such trip would just tire us out instead of re-energizing us so we packed our towels, sun block, shades & headed out to the beach at around 830am. It was about 15-20 min walk from our hotel and we found such a serene beach, so different from the likes of busy areas like Phuket & Pattaya!

Does this look familiar? It was from Nickhun & Victoria's We Got Married filming! Haha pardon the inner Hallyu fan girl in me ((:

You can rent umbrella & chair for either 10 Bahts or 20 Bahts per pax. Mister really really wanted his tan.

We found this little guy as I was picking up shells on the beach!

Although we wanted to stay longer, we also had to take a mini bus back to Bangkok. With the intention to avoid evening peak period jam, we had to leave the beautiful beach and back at the hotel by noon.  After a quick shower, packing our things and checkout, we walked over to this little restaurant "Eat @ Hua Hin" for lunch.  The decoration was minimal yet cozy and all dishes tasted amazing. Our only issue was the numerous flies that wouldn't stop coming to our food :(

We finally left our hotel around 2pm with this cab for 100 Bahts. The kindhearted driver brought us straight to the mini bus ticket office although we couldn't even give him exact address. He even helped us buy tickets to Bangkok and we were on our merry way by 230pm.

We were back at Victory Monument by 530pm and we took a skytrain back to our Metz  hotel, to check-in again and drop off our overnight bags.  We then headed to Terminal 21 mall for dinner and retail therapy for Mister.

We were in Bangkok during the height of "You Who Came From the Stars" fame. So here I found my very own alien aka Do Min Joon haha

As you guys probably know, Terminal 21 is also known for its photogenic installations of famous sites around the world.

While Mister was shopping

I was sooooo happy to find this at the basement of Terminal 21! A perfect place to get Thailand snacks as presents for colleagues & friends :D

As we walked along the main road in search of a cab, we stumbled upon Holly's Coffee from South Korea and Mister was super excited! So we went in for a cup of coffee before finally calling it a day!

Adios!

xoxo
