Mr & Missy in Bali

Hotel stays should be a norm for people in Singapore, considering how much we love to travel. But staying at a private villa with a pool just for your own usage is not! We were very lucky to be blessed with a 2-night stay at the  Khayangan Dreams Villa Kerobokan for SGD 351 (Normal rate for 2 nights stay at a one-bedroom pool villa is about SGD 600).  Amazing 42% discount! So just to enjoy this pool villa stay, we planned our trip to Bali!

Here is the itinerary for our 3D2N trip.

Day 1
Departure from Changi Airport at 1020am
Arrival at Ngurah Rai Intl Airport at 1255pm
Check in at hotel
Seminyak Square
90-min Balinese Massage & Facial at Melasti Beach Resort
Dinner at Naughty Nuri
*** We had to cancel our stroll along Seminyak Beach as getting through immigration at Bali airport took us about 90 min.

Day 2
Sukowati Market
Lunch at Ibu Oka
Goa Gajah
BAS Coffee Farm
Viewpoint for Mt. Batur and Lake Batur
Tegallalang - Rice Paddy View
Dinner at Bebek Bengil (Dirty Duck)
60-min Balinese Massage at our villa
*** We had to cancel a drive to Pura Ulun Danu at Bratan Lake due to traffic jam.  We should have gone to Pura Ulun Danu at Bratan Lake instead of Goa Gajah.

Day 3
Check out from hotel
Tanah Lot
Nuasa Dua Beach
Late Lunch
Jimbaran Beach
Departure from Ngurah Rai Intl Airport at 655pm
Arrival at Changi Airport at 930pm
*** We had to cancel a visit to Pura Batu Balong Temple & Tirtha Bali Chapel Uluwatu due to  the extremely horrible traffic jam, to and fro Nuasa Dua Beach.  We should have gone to Pura Batu Balong Temple & Tirtha Bali Chapel Uluwatu instead of Nuasa Dua Beach.

Day 1 and Day 2 were not bad.  However, Day 3 was just plain atrocious! I'll elaborate more in my subsequent posts. Nonetheless, both I and Mister agreed that highlight of our trip is definitely a stay at the pool villa! Let me elaborate more about this hotel.

"The Khayangan Dreams Villa Kerobokan is a place to unwind and recover from the effects of today’s fast paced world. Fully self-contained, each villa has an integrated living and dining environment with a gourmet kitchen. Leisure filled days can be spent by the pool or beneath the shade of a traditional gazebo surrounded by exotic greenery. The Khayangan Dreams Villa Kerobokan has its own signature brand of personalized hospitality to ensure that each stay is a truly memorable experience."
 Our Private Pool!! Teeheeee
There is even a traditional gazebo / pavilion!

This dining area is just beside the pool.
So we can enjoy our meals by the pool.
How relaxing is that?

Spacious Interior of the dining area

Plenty of places to just chill and forget about your worries!

Complimentary welcome fruit basket

The bedroom is facing the pool so that's what we see as soon as we wake up.
Pure bliss (:

Welcome drink
I just love these flowers.
They make you feel like you are in a tropical paradise!

Rain Shower!
We absolutely love our short stay there! The only downside is that it is not close to the Seminyak town area and you must take a cab back to hotel. Not very easy to navigate especially in the dark.
More posts on our Bali trip coming soon. Stay tuned!

Adios!
xoxo
