Travelling.

Travelling.
Travelling leaves you speechless. Then turn you into a storyteller. Hope I have been a good one ^.^

Mr & Missy in Korea Day 7 (22 May 2013)

Mister came to Sinchon Station around 10:30am to bring me to his hostel so that we could eat lunch together. I planned to edit our trip photos and arrange them in chronological order while he attends his afternoon classes 1-3pm.

Along the road to SK Global House

After his classes ended, we walked around Yonsei Campus for me to compare it to Korea University and insist that KU campus is prettier haha School Rivalry!  I know its childish but its fun :D

Yonsei's Hogwarts Building

We then walked back to Mister's hostel (SK Global House) to drop off his school stuffs before heading to Chungmuro Station on Line 3 to visit Namsangol Hanok Village.

Outside Namsangol Hanok Village, there was a food stall selling another of my favorite snack - red bean filled, fish shaped, cake?

Namsangol Hanok Village
There is a free medical check-up offered to tourists!

Namsan Tower / N Seoul Tower can be seen from this village.

Then we walked to the bus stop outside Daehan Cinema (near exit 2 of Chungmuro Station) to take bus 02 to the Namsan Tower.  Its only 5 stops away! I think Bus 03 and 05 go there too.

At the Namsan Tower bus stop

From the bus stop, we had to walk up a slope for 5-10 min to reach the Namsan Tower.

SO MANY LOCKS OF LOVE! Couples usually write messages to each other, lock the 2 padlocks together to the fence and then, throw away the key so that their love will last for eternity. So many dramas made this place very famous.  As far as I can remember, Boys Over Flowers was filmed at the Namsan Cable Car.  Khuntoria Couple from We Got Married also put their locks there.  This placed was even mentioned in the 50 Reasons Why Seoul Is The World's Greatest City by CNN Travel.

So we fulfilled our obligation as a couple who had visited the Namsan Tower too! hehehe ^-^

On a love bench - this bench can make two people sit very close to each other hence it is called a love bench

Night View of Seoul from Mt. Namsan

After we left Namsan Tower, we headed to Insadong (Anguk Station, Exit 6) for dinner and souvenir shopping. BUT we spent too much time at the Namsangol Hanok Village and the N Seoul Tower that by the time we reached Insadong, it was already 9pm! Most of the shops were closed and we just managed to have dinner and buy 2 pairs of shoes for me :D

In Insadong, all the shops' names are Koreanised. Even Starbucks spelt its name in Korean!

Oh Yes, we also saw that Olive Young (like Guardian and Watson) was selling this Market O Brownies (10 pcs in a box) for just 5000 Won so we bought it. These brownies are so yummy! They are not super dry and you can taste chocolate and rum.

When we were back at Sinchon it was already 11+pm and we still needed to pack for Jeju trip. We were flying there the next day so Mister just sent me back to the 24 Guesthouse for the day.

Adios!
xoxo
Miss N
