Homemade Meals

I will be the first one to admit that I cannot cook!  So not all of these are made by me.  But these are just some delicious yet simple meals I prepared with my flatmates or with Mister! 


Eat Clean! Drink fresh fruit juices instead of carbonated drinks haha :D

I made an Oreo cake for Mister's 24th birthday!!!
Since my flat didn't have an oven, I made this 3-layered cake with a no-bake recipe. Main ingredients are oreo, cheese and chocolate. Sounds sinful yea?  But the reception was great so who cares! hahha :D


Minced Pork Noodle (Myanmar Style)

Mont Lone Yay Paw (Myanmar New Year Snack which is very similar to Malay Kueh - Oneh  Gula Malaka)



Preparation of Mont Lone Yay Paw
1. Knead a mixture of white flour, rice flour, salt, baking soda, oil & water
2. Chop palm sugar
3. Place small piece of palm sugar in the middle of a small lump of dough
4. Roll into a ball
5. Boil the balls.  The balls will float to the surface when cooked.
6. Scoop the balls and sprinkle grated coconut flesh onto the balls.

This is a mixture of lime, green chili, fish paste, roasted dal powder, dried shrimp, cabbage, onion and garlic oil.
